Overview

Process 1

Follow these steps to view and edit stored credentials on the computer:

1. Open a command prompt as administrator.
   
   
2. Run the command: rundll32.exe keymgr.dll KRShowKeyMgr
   
   
3. The following window will appear, where modifications can be made:

Here is the registry key that stores the above setting

Registry Hive HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Registry Path SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa Value Name disabledomaincreds Value Type D_Word Enabled Value 1 (store the Data) Disabled Value 0

For Windows XP Professional

• Click Start, Run and type Secpol.msc
• Under Local Policies, select Security Options
• In the right-pane, scroll down the list and locate the following entry:

Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication

• Double-click the option and set it to Disabled
• Close the Local Security Settings window
• Restart Windows for the changes to take effect

Disable will let windows to store the Data.

Enable will not let windows to store the Data.

Process 4

2. View by: Small Icon
3. Credential Manager
4. Windows Credentials


From here you can delete as well.
